CareGivers America is licensed through the Pennsylvania Department of Health for the following services:

CareGivers America’s Home Health and Medical Supply Divisions are accredited through Accreditation Commission for Health Care Inc. (ACHC), a private, not-for-profit corporation which is certified to ISO 9001:2008 standards, was developed by home care and community-based providers to help companies improve business operations and quality of patient care. Accreditation is a voluntary activity where the healthcare organizations submit to peer review of their internal policies, processes and patient care delivery against national standards.

The Pennsylvania Homecare Association (PHA) has recognized CareGivers America among only four agencies statewide for Best Practices in Homecare and Hospice. CareGivers America received top honors in the Operations Management category for it’s entry Utilization of Evidence-Based Therapy in Home Health which describes practices to better assess and treat patients who receive physical therapy in the home
CareGivers America was awarded the 2010 HomeCare Elite Award. The HomeCare Elite honors top agencies in quality outcomes, quality improvement, and financial performance measures. The 2010 HomeCare Elite was compiled using publicly available data from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service’s (CMS) Home Health Compare and CMS cost reports.
CareGivers America was honored with the Philips Lifeline Achievement Award. CareGivers America was recognized for tremedous program accomplishments throughout 2010 across the company’s 12 offices in Pennsylvania and New York State. In 2004, CareGivers America partnered with Philips Lifeline to provide telecommunication products to seniors throughout the company’s territories. Specifically, the company offers Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS) and Medication Dispensing Units.
